Since its creation in March 1998, the English Language Institute of Tetouan has been adopting “quality and excellence�? as a hallmark in its ways of teaching the English language. In order to achieve our aim we have done our best to make up a solid elite of highly experienced and qualified Moroccan teachers reinforced by foreign teachers.

To keep up to date with the latest international methods, programmes and teaching materials, we have established strong links worldwide with famous international publishers such as Longman, Macmillan, Cambridge University press, ELi …etc and numerous well-known libraries ( Attica, Whesmith, Calliope ). Furthermore, we have been participating in international exhibitions such as Expolangues in France .

Due to the great importance of new technology in the success of the teaching process, we have equipped all our classrooms with the latest audio-visual means. We have also created a data-room with Internet access and we are working on making the Internet accessible in every classroom with the Internet WIFI technology. We are looking forward to adopting e-learning by the means of this website as a short-term objective.

ELI library is by far the largest and richest ELT library in Tetouan and one of the most distinguished libraries available in Morocco (references, CDs, readers …etc). All our classrooms are air-conditioned and satellite connected to the most famous English –speaking channels, and we’ve got a friendly cafeteria in addition to cinema, theatre, music and excursion clubs.

It would be totally illogical for any institution to claim that it could guarantee a 100% success for its learners. However in ELI we commit ourselves to saving no effort working for the success of our learners through dealing with the special cases individually.Our institute has been the leader in English language teaching in Tetouan in terms of :

- The number of learners.
- The number of qualified staff members.
- We have become the first institute introducing innovative programmes such as the mini-kids club, kids club, junior courses, business English, TOEFL preparation courses, courses links in the UK …etc
- We have become the first institute adopting the University of Cambridge local examination syndicate quick placement test to determine the learners’ level.
- We have become the first institute introducing culture clubs: cinema, theatre, music …etc
