Istanbul, Turkey from March 30th to April 6th

E.L.I exchange students program with Burc Koleji of Istanbul has given a golden opportunity to a group of eight Moroccan students to enjoy a fantastic cultural and educational visit to Turkey . Our period of stay ( March 30th to April 6th) was a success in terms of promoting our students English learning and integrating in the Turkish community by getting-in-touch concretely with its colourful cultural issues and ways of life.

With a very busy schedule, our presence at Burc Koleji was warm heartedly welcomed: comfortable accommodation and transportation; warm hospitality and delicious food; cultural visits to the most important historical sights in the area such as the Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia Museum, the Blue Mosque, Islamic Arts Museum, Topcapi Palace, Dolmabahçe Palace, Bosphorus Tour, … etc. Actually, Istanbul is a real beauty that connects Europe and Asia .

E.L.I students have profited from that exchange to attend classes at the Koleji. They have even organised a Moroccan Day so as to make our culture known to the Turkish students and teachers ( a film viewing, music, traditional clothes, food…etc). In addition, many other sports events were in the agenda, like swimming, football, chess … etc.

Now, we are looking forward to receiving some Turkish students from Burc Koleji. Till then, we do thank Burc Koleji staff and students
